I have had a life-long passion for military history. After amassing the obligatory library full of books on war, I decided that I wanted to become a historian. I graduated with my BA in History from Wabash College in 2012, and my MA in Public History from Wright State University in 2014. While at Wright State, I was the first graduate assistant for the new War & Society MA program, which gave me the opportunity to research and write daily about military history. In 2013, I interned with the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Prior to attending Wright State, I worked for the Ramsey Archive at Wabash College and volunteered with the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust and the Indiana War Memorial. In December 2014, I enlisted in the United States Army, and served on active duty from January 2015-November 2021. Since leaving the active duty Army, I have continued to serve in the Army National Guard.
